The EDIX English Seatsaver is an anatomically shaped skin made of Merino fur which is especially for an English saddle.
At the bottom of the seat is a velcro strap with Velcro so that the fur can be stretched over the leather seat and can be easily attached from the front to the back through the chamber of the saddle. Both left and right there is an elastic that goes over the skirts of the saddle.
Due to the specific construction of a wool hair fibre and the distance between the hairs on a sheepskin, an intermediate layer is created filled with stagnant air, which is why a sheepskin naturally has a breathable and ventilating effect. The natural air conditioning of wool is effective, as it is wonderfully warm in winter as well as cool in summer.
Wool is naturally water repellent and also absorbent. Sheep’s wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture, without the coat feeling wet or clammy.
