Exciting news at The Western Saddler Ltd!

We are thrilled to announce that Alison Hargreaves has officially joined our team as our first Lantra certified western saddle fitter. With her expertise and passion for equine comfort, Alison is an excellent addition to our team.
What does it mean to be Lantra certified?
Being Lantra certified means that Alison has undergone rigorous training and assessment to ensure she meets the highest standards in saddle fitting. This certification is a testament to her knowledge, skills, and dedication to providing top-notch service to our customers, both human and equine.
She also has a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, a Master's degree in Equine Science and over 40 years experience riding, caring for and training horses. She is an advocate for track and equicentral management systems, fear free training and listening to the horse and her horses are barefoot and ridden bitless.
Why choose Alison for your saddle fitting needs?
Alison's certification sets her apart as a professional who understands the importance of proper saddle fit for both horse and rider. With her expertise, she can help you find the perfect saddle that ensures comfort, balance, and performance.
Due to Alison managing a smaller area she will be able to get out to her clients more promptly, thereby negating the need to wait long periods of time for a visit.
What can you expect from Alison's saddle fitting services?
When you choose Alison for your saddle fitting needs, you can expect personalised attention and expert advice. She will take the time to assess your horse's conformation, your riding style, and any specific requirements you may have.
Alison's passion for equine welfare and commitment to excellence make her the ideal choice for anyone looking to improve their riding experience. Whether you are a seasoned rider or just starting out, Alison is here to help you and your horse.
We are thrilled to have Alison on board, and we know you will be too!
