Take a look at our 10 distinct wood types currently available for your next pair of stirrups. Hand-selected by Don Orrell himself, each wood type is unique with its own set of characteristics. While the natural patterns in the wood may cause variation in grain and colour, we ensure that every pair is crafted with the utmost attention to detail.
Rancher Wood: Stained Oak (No gloss finish): Our Rancher is a beautiful oak wood option with a more rustic look. The wood is stained to bring out its natural grain patterns and create a classic look.
Red Cedar Wood: Red Cedar is a beautiful softwood that has warm, red tones with a fine grain pattern. While it is more prone to dents and scratches than some of our hardwood options, it makes up for it with its natural beauty and unique character.
Red Elm: Red Elm is a durable and strong wood with an attractive light reddish-brown colour. It has a distinctive grain pattern that makes it an ideal choice for custom engraving.
Walnut: A popular pick and for good reason. Featuring a rich brown colour and beautiful wood grain, Walnut makes for a timeless and elegant choice.
