An anatomically shaped pad made of a strong quilted cotton step fabric on the top and a high-quality Merino® fur lambskin on the bottom. The Amazon coaster is cut in the same shape as the Amazon riding pad.
On both sides of the spine there are 2 large insert pockets on the inside, which are already equipped with 3 mesh layers. Of course, a different type of insert can be chosen if necessary. Where the rider's leg rubs during riding, a nylon reinforcement has been applied to prevent wear.
High-quality Merino® wool is probably still one of the most technically advanced materials in the world. Because the original fur skin is used instead of sheared and woven wool, optimal benefit is taken from the benefits of this natural material. That is why we recommend using directly on the horse's back.
The new free spinal canal of the EDIX® Merino pads, with short-sheared Merino wool, has been developed in a way to reduce pressure points and to provide the best protection for your horse's spine. Furthermore, the Merino fur sheet has a large surface area so that the panels of the saddle rest completely on it. As a result, the natural fibers effectively distribute sweat moisture to the outside, simultaneously distributing pressure and absorbing shock.
