These are one of TWS biggest sellers! These pads are amazing, and well worth the extra money as they do the job of many pads in one.
TWS has had extensive experience with using these pads in the fitting of saddles, and making horses comfortable and able to do the job we require of them. Therefore, we can offer the back up help to help the customer understand how best to use these pads to maximise their horse's comfort.
Western saddlepad - Rio-Pecos round base pad with detachable panels with Correction® system is made with 100% genuine sheepskin with the addition of wear leathers. The sheepskin panels are detachable from the quilt.
This product incorporates our correction® system in the following pocket choices:-
2 pocket (1 long pocket on each side)
6 pocket (3 pockets on each side - 1 pocket at the front, 1 pocket in the middle and 1 pocket at the rear on each side)
8 pocket (3 pockets on each side - 1 pocket at the front, 1 pocket in the middle and 1 pocket at the rear on each side plus 2 pocket (1 long pocket on each side) in the base panels)
Please note for 2 pocket correction system – this includes 6 shims, 3 per pocket.
Please note for 6 pocket correction system – this includes 18 shims, 3 per pocket.
Please note for 8 pocket correction system - this includes shims as supplied for the 6 pocket and 2 pocket correction systems.
Additional shims may be purchased.

Pony Pad - A to B - 65cm, C to D - 36cm, G to H - 70cm
Cob Pad - A to B - 70cm, C to D - 36cm, G to H - 75cm
Full Pad - A to B - 75cm, C to D - 36cm, G to H - 80cm
XL Pad - A to B - 80cm, C to D - 36cm, G to H - 85cm

You can choose from a quilt top, sheen top (thicker fabric), or a velvet top (thicker fabric) - all at no extra cost.
Binding is included in price however pipings are an extra £11.50 each (we will invoice you separately for any pipings you choose).
If you have a pale coloured horse, please be advised to choose the lighter colour sheepskins, as on occasion the dye has run when wet.
Fading of the wool's surface is also possible. This is due to the composition of the horses’ sweat, which can be different from horse to horse.
If you wish to place a custom order, please order through the website and email me your binding & piping colour choices. With the California, Performer or Square pad you can also choose to have a logo or text - please email for details.

You can choose a quilt (or velvet) colour, the wool colour, a binding colour, and up to three piping colours. Velvet costs no extra and pipings cost £11.50 each (you can have up to 3).
