EDIX® Broncho Merino Pad

The EDIX Broncho Fur Pad is an anatomically shaped pad made of a strong quilted cotton step fabric on the top and a high quality Merino fur lambskin on the bottom. The Broncho pad is cut in the same shape as the Broncho riding pad.

On both sides of the backbone there are 2 large insert compartments on the inside, which are already equipped with 3 felt inserts. Naturally, a different type of insert can be chosen if required. Where the rider’s leg rubs while riding, a nylon reinforcement has been applied to prevent wear.

High-quality Merino wool is probably still one of the most technically advanced materials in the world. Because the original fur skin is used instead of shaved and woven wool, the benefits of this natural material are optimally taken advantage of. That is why we recommend that you use directly on the horse’s back.

The new free spinal canal of the EDIX Merino pads, with short-shaved Merino wool, has been developed in a way to reduce pressure points and to provide the best protection for your horse’s spine. Furthermore, the Merino fur skin has a large surface so that the panels of the saddle rest completely on it. As a result, the natural fibres effectively distribute the sweat to the outside, simultaneously distributing pressure and absorbing shock.
